3.23.15 – What Kind of Country Have We Become?

The Fourth Amendment states that any authority must have reasonable suspicion before searching a person or their property. Further, American citizens are not required to disclose the destination of their travel. Nor, are Americans required to present ID without a legitimate reasons. Driving down a highway, 50 miles from the border is not a legitimate reason to violate the Constitutional rights of any traveler. Yet, here in America, the Constitution is on life support and the Fourth Amendment is gone.

This leaves us with a fundamental question, what kind of country have we become?
